There really isn’t a bad time to visit Las Vegas which offers a vast array of exciting things to do any time of the year. April is a particularly nice time to visit as the city enters its best weather season with highs only reaching around 78F with lows around 51F. April in Vegas also brings pool season with most swimming pools open to the public by mid April. This time of year also draws the Spring Break visitors looking for the best, cheap hotels in Las Vegas so it’s always wise to book ahead of time to get the best deals.
April in Las Vegas is the best way to check out the strip on foot, going in and out of the different hotels and casinos along the way, stopping for a bite to eat or a drink along the way. Just put on you walking shoes and stop by Treasure Island, Bellagio, MGM Grand, the Venetian, and more; they are all worth visiting. Each of the magnificent resorts/casinos offers their own world full of unique features and over the top luxury and are brimming with unique shops and boutiques, spas, casinos, amusement parks and more. You can even catch a bus and hop off here and there further along the strip to make sure you don’t miss anything.
Las Vegas has some of the best golf courses in the nation and April’s prime weather conditions here make it the perfect time to play. Enjoying a helicopter ride this time of year is also a great way to see Las Vegas and its surroundings, and with the money you can save by staying at one of the city’s many discounts hotels with make your flight an affordable one. There’s really nothing like experiencing an aerial view of Las Vegas. For the kids, the Las Vegas Extravaganza Easter celebration is a popular event, kicking of spring at the Springs Preserve.
The Las Vegas Appleseed marksmanship event takes place April 21st and 22nd, and for only 6 bucks a day you can enjoy the range and see some of the professional shooters out there doing what they do best; wild west Las Vegas at its finest.
There are also an extraordinary amount of musical performances throughout Las Vegas for you to enjoy in April, such as Kittie and Origin. Kittie is an all-girl band that has become really popular because of their unique sound and Origin is one of the more popular death metal bands. Best of all the iconic Elton John in now in Las Vegas and provides one of the most exhilarating shows on the strip.
The cheap hotels will make any trip to the city affordable and April is an ideal time of the year to be in Las Vegas and for celebrating spring in a big way.
