3 Top Holiday Villa Locations In Europe

Some countries are better suited to villas than others. For example, trying to book a holiday villa in Japan or Peru is not the easiest task in the world as these are not the traditional form of accommodation and villas are not suited to the environment. On the other hand, look into renting a villa in France, Italy or Spain for example and you will find yourself with more options that you can shake a stick at. The culture and climate in these countries are very well suited to villa living, but with such a plethora of offerings, it can be hard to know where to choose. Here are 3 of the finest villa locations in the world and a description of why they are so good

Cote D’Azur, France: There are so many great options when looking for villas in France, so what makes the Provence-Alps-Cote D’Azur that extra bit special. This part of the country is where you can find incredible diversity. From hip and happening restaurants and bars, to family hang outs and rustic farm houses, it really can all be experienced in this Provence. Furthermore, the scenery is amazing diverse as well. You are close to the French Alps where can experience some of the finest winter sports in the world, or you can head down to the coast and find incredibly beautiful beaches basking in the sheltered Balearic Sea

Crete, Greece: Crete is a real villa Mecca for many people and as well as renting a place year after year, lots of visitors decide to buy their own. Villas in Greece are commonly more open plan than in other European countries which is in part to a very stable warm climate, but also a reflection of their laid- back lifestyle. Crete is the largest of the Greek Islands and boasts some incredible scenery. If you’re not quite so laid back as the locals, you’ll find some of the best hiking locations available here, and you can continue the active theme down on the beaches, which are well known for their water sports availability. The Greek island of Crete is surround by ancient legends and fairytales, and you’ll find it very hard not to fall under its spell should you be lucky enough to visit.

Sicily, Italy: If you’ve never been to Italy then you are missing out. Such a rich culture and such great food have to be seen (and tasted) to be believed, and one of the finest places to get the real Italian experience is Sicily. The island just of the south of Italy is a real getaway heaven and adopts the classic Italian ethos – ‘eat well, rest well, and be happy’. There are so many beaches to choose from in Sicily, some more hidden away than others, but all with crystal clear waters. Villas in Sicily are in high demand, but if you can book earlier your sure to land somewhere stunning. You may even want to take your skis along with you as Mt.Etna has been known to provide some great snow conditions.

Those Villas being showcased at the video are really awesome. Feels like it will be a great stay in there. But on the other hand, it can cost people much than usual villas. But then again, all in all, great villa and place for vacation.

People often overlook the Greek Islands when booking a villa holiday instead optioning for the more common locations such as France, Spain, Portugal or Italy. However the Greek Islands are beautiful and you can find some amazing properties available for rent along with some amazing views.

Perhaps Keely, ti is because some of the Greek islands have a reputation and only the party goers end up there. Thats why it is important for a holiday destination to promote themselves in the right manner and always keep an eye out, for how the outside world looks at them.

Very true Natalie, although for the number of party islands there are still a number of quieter more secluded islands on offer.
