London is famous for many things including the River Thames that is a beautiful part of its rich history and trade. It is also a destination where travellers love to head for a trip on the water to see the sights. The London Showboat is a great example of a tour that travellers will adore as it includes dinner and entertainment. The experience lasts for more than three hours and is available for wheelchair users. It takes tourists through the very heart of London to many famous sights that are illuminated at night and is a popular choice of tour. In the summer it is also just as wonderful watching the beautiful sun set with fellow travellers.

The tour starts from Westminster and runs up to the Thames Barrier and then travels back again on a route that will engage guests. They get to delight in having a tasty four-course meal with great entertainment from a live singer. Travellers will feel very special on this boat as they will be looked after by the hard-working members of staff. The dinner cruise includes a wonderful opportunity to enjoy cabaret and dancing. Guests will get to sail past the iconic buildings of the O2 Arena and City Hall, as well as Canary Wharf. The Houses of Parliament are also absolutely amazing to see at night as the boat glides past this historic sight.

The talented cabaret singer will perform tunes from West End shows from the past and present and pop music entertaining travellers along the way. Dancing is encouraged but tourists can just sit back and enjoy the sights drifting by them. There is a wonderful menu on offer with an equally fantastic vegetarian and gluten-free list of food. There is a glass of sparkling wine available per person on arrival and dinner includes a half bottle of red or white wine for each guest. The list of monuments and bridges that are seen from the tour, which starts at Westminster Pier, is amazing and travellers will be very excited by what they see.

This popular tour leaves at 7.30pm and guests have to get there at least 15 minutes before departure. Heading around London on a walking or cycling tour is a popular pursuit, but the best way to see the capital is through a trip on the River Thames. Before the tour travellers should definitely head out on a walk along the water, as the scenery during a leisurely stroll is lovely. There are benches dotted around the water’s edge that are ideal to have a sit and watch the world go by maybe with a book or listening to music in this great capital city.
