Party in Rome

Party in Rome in September to celebrate 140 years of Rome being the capital of Italy

140 years have passed since Rome was declared capital of Italy and this is to remember the famous Breccia di Porta Pia, which was opened 20 September 1870, and from 18 to 20 September 2010 there will be 3 days of celebrations and revocations in the capital.

It will be a project coordinated by the President of the Republic, together with the Vatican City and it has been foreseen celebrations and parties along the streets, inside the historical palaces and churches plus monuments of the city. During the same weekend we inform you that on Saturday 18 September 2010 it will be possible to visit the Coliseum in the evening, from 21:00 to midnight with an extraordinary opening. The visit is predicted with the possibility to see the formidable underground of the arena where you could find gladiators and the ferocious wild beasts waiting to go out to fight.

Also particularly suggestive is the presence of a hot air balloon which will illuminate the hypogeal zones, galleries and the internal arches. Don’t let this weekend in Rome slip by.

If you want to arrive by train, remember that on the site Trenitalia.it it is possible to buy high speed train tickets in advance with a notable discount.

For those looking for an economical place to stay in the centre of Rome, on the website city-apartments-rome.com you can see many holiday apartments in the centre of Rome with discounts superior to 20%.

Wow, the event already ended but for sure the party won’t be forgotten. I heard that this event is really awesome and of a kind. Foods and attractions are the most common thing during the festival.

I like to go to Events like this. You find that the spirit and good nature of everyone attending catches on and it can turn out to be a fun holiday.
